Items must be unused, in a perfect resalable condition and accompanied by a valid order reference. We do not cover the return cost, but we are happy to help with it. Email us at hello@beautiedit.com for more information or send us a message through the contact page.

Returns should be wrapped securely using the same packaging they were received in, or inappropriate packaging to ensure the goods arrive with us in their original condition. The order reference must clearly be displayed in order to process a return. We will reserve the right to refuse a refund/exchange for damages caused by insecure or insufficient packaging.

All Returns requests will be actioned during opening hours Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm ex-public holidays.

Refunds can only be applied against the original payment method within 2 working days from the date the return is received. Refunds although processed by us may then take up to 5-7 working days to show.

In the unusual event, your products arrive damaged or faulty, we will be happy to provide replacements or offer a refund as soon as possible. Please contact hello@beautiedit.com where we will be delighted to help resolve any issues.
It will be necessary to provide photographs of the damaged/faulty goods & we reserve the right to collect the damaged products from you for Quality Checking purposes. Correspondence will be made with you directly.

1. Wax 48 hours or shave 24 hours before tanning to allow the skin to recover and pores to close.

2. Exfoliate gently 24 hours before tanning. After exfoliating, moisturise your skin.

3. Shower at least 30 minutes before application.

4. Give the bottle a good shake and then apply a few pumps onto your BeautiEdit Tanning Mitt. Apply in circular motions and follow the colour guide colour.

5. Leave your tan for at least 4-8 hours before showering. For best results, we recommend leaving overnight. 

Voila! Enjoy your new flawless tan. 

To remove fake tan effectively, start by scrubbing and exfoliating your skin with a gentle scrub or loofah to remove the color. BeautiEdit's ethos is that we create skincare products that tan, therefore all our tan wears off naturally after 5-7 days. Finally, moisturize your skin thoroughly with a moisturizer to fade the remaining color and restore hydration.

The answer is yes! Fake tan does not block UV rays, so you can still get a tan even if you're using a self-tanner. While the self-tanner will make your skin look like you've spent some time in the sun it won't actually block the UV rays from reaching your skin, so remember to wear your sunscreen. As we always say, fake it don't bake it!

It is generally recommended to avoid applying fake tan on a new tattoo. New tattoos require proper care and protection during the healing process, and applying any product, including fake tan, may interfere with the healing or cause adverse effects. It is best to consult with your tattoo artist or a dermatologist for specific instructions on caring for your new tattoo and when it is safe to apply fake tan in that area.

Yes, fake tan can go off or expire. Like many cosmetic products, fake tan formulations have a shelf life and can degrade over time. The expiration date of fake tan products is typically indicated on the packaging or the product itself. Using an expired fake tan can result in uneven color, an unpleasant odor, or potentially cause skin irritation. It's important to check the expiration date and discontinue use if the product has expired. Proper storage, such as keeping it in a cool, dry place, can help prolong the lifespan of fake tan products.

While it is possible to apply fake tan on top of existing fake tan, it's generally not recommended. Layering fake tan can lead to an uneven or unnatural-looking result, as the new application may react with the remnants of the previous fake tan. Additionally, excessive layering can result in a buildup of color that may appear patchy or streaky.

If you desire to reapply fake tan, it is advisable to first remove the existing fake tan completely. You can achieve this by exfoliating your skin thoroughly to remove any residual color. Once the previous fake tan has been fully removed, you can then proceed to apply a fresh layer of fake tan for a more even and desired outcome.
